Cheer on the #3 Minutemen (12-1, 8-0 A-10) this Friday as they take on the Montana Grizzlies in the NCAA Div. I FCS Semi-Finals. The game will be broadcast live from Missoula, Mont., at 7:30 PM ET on ESPN2.

Minuteman Band Honors Four
Each year, the the Minuteman Band alumni family grows with each class of graduating seniors. This year, we as alumni and friends of the band, honor four exemplary people. Ann Thompson, of the UMass Amherst Alumni Assocation, was made an honorary band alumna at her farewell party August 21. She is now the director of alumni relations at Stony Brook University. Ann proudly displays her UMass Band uniform pillow in her new office. Brian Carroll, known well to Minuteman Band Alumni, was inducted to the Minuteman Band Hall of Fame in celebration of his 20 years of service to the band. Brian is also an honorary brother of Kappa Kappa Psi. Michael Klesch stepped down this fall as assistant director of the Minuteman Band to pursue other professional interests. He was honored at Homecoming for his 20 years of excellence with the Minuteman Band. Don't worry... he's still writing the shows! Last, but not least, Sam the Minuteman was honored for his participation with the Minuteman Band over the years. Sam is now an honorary member of the Minuteman Band.
